My agent Gina Kerbelis was and REMAIN an amazing and caring woman, she always returned my calls, even when things became complicated. She is why I stayed so long and tried to make it work.
Unfortunately, I had to cancel my auto policy with Allstate because I realized several discrepancies on my CLUE report: 3 accidents were reported wrongly on my DL and SS# since 2013 when I never was involved in any of those accidents nor as a driver, nor as a passenger. I figured out after being tired of seeing my premium increase by 20% every 6 months for years and asking a quote to 2 competitors. It was a surprise to see I had major accidents on it that were not mine.
I went from $291/month with Allstate to $152 with Progressive and $160 with Geico for same coverage with 3 accidents wrongly reported.
After Allstate claim department and underwriter corrected my CLUE report, my premium went from $152 to $98/month for exact same coverage, deductible and limits for a platinum policy including accident forgiveness.
Mistakes happen and I would have stayed loyal if I had received a call from Amy Rossi who was copied in all emails last month while I was asking for a resolution; I would have liked as a valued and loyal client a quick phone call:
1-to apologize for the mistakes,
2-to offer compensate me for the inconvenience and
3-to commit to do a thorough research on the rates I paid for the past 3 years.
Regardless of the errors, I was told I was never over charged. $200/ month = $2400/year difference between what I was paying and the quotes and policy I have, I have a hard time believing I was never overcharged due to those errors on my CLUE report.
