I'd usually buy orchids from street vendors, but they never last. I was introduced to Amazonia orchids at the last Fairchild orchid festival. Axel was so knowledgeable, and guaranteed that his orchids would not only survive the week, but that I could enjoy two blooms a year for possibly the rest of my life. Well it's been almost a year and the orchids are nearing their second bloom.
