We were very disappointed. We had read other reviews and were looking forward to eating there. I think that all the positive reviews are just based on the beach where it is located. The food was subpar at best. We arrived at 6:30pm to order dinner. They were in such a hurry to get us out of there. They close at 8pm and had everything put away at 7pm. This place is self serve, so, if you need napkins after 7, good luck. This is nothing more that a tourist trap.
Anna Maria Island is a nice beach to visit, it's very clean and overall has a family-oriented vibe.... You can purchase food, snacks, ice cream and drinks at the shops.... You can purchase alcoholic beverages at the bar and stay at the bar with them.... Pretty water and nice shells to collect!!!! I would reccomend to anyone visiting the area and the locals know how great it is already!!!! Parking is so-so, if you come early you're sure to get a close spot!!!! I am definitely going again!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Susan wanted to see the "old Florida" she remembered as a child. From the little motel, (Seaside Resort), with it's room opening directly on the beach, to the great little family owned restaurants just across the bridge in Cortez, we found just what she needed to find - a wonderful week making memories together! I hope you can too when you too visit Anna Marie Island.
