Prepare yourself for a new low in poor quality food preparation and service. Athena By The Sea is fancy name that totally misrepresents itself and misdirects patrons. It is NOT on the water and it is a low grade rip off operation that serves reheated commerically made frozen foods. It is an insult to every patron who stumbles into this corner dive.
Everything looks and tastes like prepossessed frozen food exactly like the mass produced tasteless food you see in the frozen section of the super market. But here, a dish will cost you between $13 to $26. Simply terrible food. The salads were very disappointing and served with a small paper portion cup of some unrecognizable goop 'dressing' you would spit out after tasting. The service is poor and careless. After the awful meal, I began speaking to the manager about the terrible food and he rudely walked away from me while I was speaking with him. Nobody cares in Athena by the Sea. Unacceptable!
