On Monday I had to put my 4 year old cat to sleep due to late stages of kidney failure. In 2015 I took my cat Ava to the BANFIELD and she was diagnosed with a UTI, given antibiotics and sent home. HER NEW VET asked me if she ever had kidney issues and I said she had UTI a few years back. I save all my pets lab work and I'm looking at her urine and blood results from that vet visit. EIGHT EIGHT EIGHT!!!!!! 8 of those lab results that are affiliated with her kidneys SHOWED ABNORMAL!!! Some were even OFF THE CHART! I trusted that vet! They could have made me aware of my cats health and I could have prolonged her life with different food and medication. Instead they diagnosed her with a "UTI and keep her away from my other cat who eats a lot."
My poor baby is gone now, 4 short years of life that could have possibly been longer.
I AM SICK OVER THIS!!!!! THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE HAD A PET WHO SUFFERED FROM THEIR NEGLIGENCE!!!!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO BANFIELD!!!!!!
