Amazing how having the right people can make all the difference in customer service. My experience of 3 years ago when I went with my mother and we both purchased beautiful wigs and had a wonderful young lady assist us in comparison to the treatment, or lack of help, today is unbelievable. Not only was I never acknowledged, but I even browsed for what I wanted as to not waste anyone's time and when I was ready, no one made eye contact with me. A lady who was already helping someone asked the younger worker to ask if a few of us needed help. She asked the lady beside me who was there after me, and when the lady said she was already helped, she completely ignored me. She grabbed a mannequin that was right in front of me and took it over to the end of the counter to make fun of it and to talk about how she did not want pizza for lunch/dinner break. Needless to say I walked right out without saying a word, and will never go back again. I was prepared to spend any amount of money for a nice wig that I need for an up coming wedding after having my hair butchered by a beauty salon. Is it because I was white and everyone else there was black? Maybe, but in any case, I am extremely upset and disappointed.
