The Blue Rooster

Great blues bar/restaurant. Good selection of comfort foods. Plenty of seating and nice bar. One drawback, the two nights I was there the staff was shorthanded. Tip: When the server asks if you want to start out with drinks, give them your entire order. Otherwise you could be waiting awhile.

The Gospel brunch was had good eats AND good spirits. The staff worked hard to make it a pleasant experience. There was a good balance between staff, customers and musicians. Venues like that have tendency to be too noisy, or people just want their food. The atmosphere was great all around.
