Budget Car and Truck Rental

Poor customer service. When I arrived I had to wait 5 minutes for him to get off the phone with a colleague as they discussed an issue concerning a customer that wasn't due to pick up their rental for another hour, as well as, what grades the other person got on their report card. Also, when returning to hitch my vehicle onto the back of the car, while I was aware that I had to personally drive the car onto the carrier, he kept showed me how to secure the vehicle, but then interrupted our exchange to go check in another customer. I waited about 15 minutes for him to come back out, then he asked "you haven't tried driving it up yet?" So, I'm supposed to make an attempt at driving my car fully onto a carrier with no one guiding me? Then, once loaded, we discovered that with my vehicle being a newer model car, there was a plate covering exposure to the front chastity area of the car. So we couldnt attach the supplied chains in that area. When looking at the rear of the vehicle, he showed me the chains and right in the midst of me attempting to put it on, he said he stay and make sure it was being placed in the right spot, but I then said he'd be right back again. Throughout this time, he also doesn't know how discern between important phone calls, and when to put a caller on hold when an in-person customer is waiting. A 15 minutes process ended up taking 45 minutes. Would definitely recommend picking up a rental from a different branch or Uhaul.

NEVER rent a car through here! Especially in an emergency evacuation situation! They will reserve you a car if you pay over the phone, charge your card for the full amount in 5 minutes, then have no available car and not refund your money for 48 hours. $150 is non refundable unless they have no cars, then THAT portion is refunded in 3-5 days! So, no car and no money to get a car somewhere else because these people basically stole it from us as we are trying to evacuate to safety. And this is 4 days before disaster is supposed to strike. If we can't get out because of you horrible crooks, we are suing!!!!
