Although its in a dilapidated neighborhood, the park itself has a plentitude of parking, bathrooms with showers and is not nearly as touristy as Peters Point. It has a lovely walk over to the beach and is accessible by car ( only for county residents), and if from out town please purchase a parking permit. If you bring your dog, ALWAYS have them on a leash/ lead.
