If I could give this real estate office less than 1 star, I would. That is the only opinion I will give, and I have many, but for this review I will try to only state the facts of what happened with our home purchase. Feel free to contact me directly if you want names and/or details. We went through this office and used the same real estate agent to sell our house and buy another. We were giving them business on both ends of our deal. We found a house that worked well for us, it was vacant for about 5 months. There was evidence of some damage around the center island in the kitchen, as noted by our agent and the selling agent. We decided to make an offer and had the home inspector check it out. The inspector came on a email REFERRAL from our agent and this Coldwell Banker office. Upon contacting All American Home Inspections, Inc. I stressed in an email to be extra vigilant when looking at the center island area. The day of the inspection I was a little late due to my work schedule and I happened upon my agent and the home inspector gathered around the center island. I asked again and he said it was not a problem, and also indicated the same in his report. It appeared "dry". The agent later sent an email saying "Great inspection!". Relying on the inspection which was referred by this office, and the disclosure statement where the sellers said they knew of no water damage, we made an offer and it was accepted. We were very excited, but we knew there was some work. However, what we did not expect is to find that the inspector completely missed what ended up being obvious water damage and mold behind the dishwasher and under the sink. The home inspector immediately gave us our money back as you would expect. A fraction of the cost of mitigation and repairs. What we could not believe is how this real estate office, our agent, and her boss, the broker at this location, acted. We immediately contacted our agent. She first responded with "spray some bleach on it". The next thing we knew, she copied the broker (her boss) with this office. He suggested we contact a Real Estate attorney. So, we did. That is the last communication we heard from them. We contacted an attorney to go after the sellers. However, the reaction of this Coldwell Banker office was to remove themselves from the situation for some reason. Several emails and phone calls went un-returned and unanswered. Basically, they had earned their commission and now that a huge issue surfaced, they left us with no support and would not even recommend a course of action. It was as if we were never customers at all! This same kind of thing happened to my sister in California with Caldwell Banker. Do not use them and do not use this office. Our agent had the audacity to say that we were now "family" after going through this process... and that this silent treatment was corporate policy. Is this how you would treat your family? I hope not.
