WARNING: I found a property listed by this agency on craigslist. My realtor contacted their agent who gave us lock box access to see property. After I agreed to put in an offer the Agent informed us it would be $100 dollars for app fee which was refundable if I did not qualify. The next day after we gave the $100 for app fee we where contacted by Agent who said he could not believe we only gave a $100 app fee and correct App fee was $1000.00 the application document also says on it App fee is not REFUNDABLE even if applicant does not qualify. So this Agency wants $1000.00 dollars just to apply if they deny you they make more money than if they approve you because commission for rental would only be $600.00 vs an Application fee they get to keep which is $1000.00 my realtor contacted FREC attorney who stated this is unethical ,but legal so this would leave consumer with no recourse to recoup $1000.00 deposit. In other words you will pay 1000.00 just to apply for a rental. WOW
