I bought a piece of cheap jewelry for my girlfriend at a store or someplace. She loved it so much that she wore it all the time and it wore-out, essentially. So I took it there to see what could be done, and they made a mold, poured real silver into the mold, instead of the cheap plate stuff that it was made out of, reused the stones, and it came out fantastic. She still loves it and I don't have to worry about it being a cheap piece of jewelry.
