Denny's

The atmosphere here is unwelcoming. 1) My wait upon arrival to be seated was quite long. - it took some time for the server to have us seated. - she also did not voice her welcome to me as she did other guests, which made me feel uncomfortable. 2) The food came out rather quickly. - my meal was delicious. - cooked perfectly and was satisfied. 3) While observing the server and interactions with other guests I began feeling neglected. - I watched my server attend to her regulars attentively and hold lengthy conversations, whereas she visited my table at least once without me having to call her over. - my friend had a problem with her grits as it was hard and dry. She had too much cheese in her eggs and had to ask for a replacement. 4) Had to wait for our check as well as checking out. The hostess wasn't readily available for us to pay for our meal. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall, I'm not pleased. I feel service here is impartial and needs improvement.
