I first lived in Buell Brown on 7th Street. Then required a live-in-aid and moved to J and 29th. I then moved to another two bedroom.
I have had only problems with the property manager at Buell Brown whom is also my current property manager. Understand, one cannot lose their housing by making a legal complaint. In fact, if FPHA retaliates against you , one can sue the City of Fort Pierce for the retaliation.
Anyway, it is public housing, I was told by Deborah Morrotto, it is a voluntary program. It is and She voluntarily chooses to works there. So if you receive a legal notice or have a legal issue with them as I have, Either hire an attorney or retain free legal help if one qualifies at Florida Rural Legal Services on 2nd Street in Fort Pierce.
