Absolutely brutal. I had a reservation for 6 months. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I was told they didn't have a car for me. I was a little stunned and thought it was just a joke. Not a joke, there were no cars available (what is the point of a reservation?!), and was told I could head to the airport (30 minutes away) to check or they would call when one came back. Mind you this was 11:15 and they closed at 12, I highly doubt I was ever going to receive a call. As other people came in with reservations they were also told that there weren't cars available. I don't know how this is even a reality. Luckily, a woman returned a vehicle (smaller than I reserved), but I was desperate and took what I could get. Moral of the story, I will NEVER use Hertz again.
