Holiday Inn Express Venice

In the middle of renovation so hopefully the next guests will be happier. The bed is super comfortable but that’s about it.the room furniture looks like a garage sale, banquet style chair at the desk, mesh sling chair as a resting spot. AC is loud as heck and pretty ineffective. Toilet takes forever to refill. First night the toilet wasn’t working and we were told there was no mechanic on duty we could use the bathroom in the lobby! But honestly the best part is the pool gets no sun basically all day! Great for a Florida getaway! Who puts a pool in the shade? And sadly I can see the hotel pool next door in glorious sun!
