Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa

The hotel was beautiful and I love the decor. I really appreciated the colorful Lilly Pulitzer tops their staff wore. That was a very nice touch! You can absolutely tell there has been a lot of thought put into this place, however, there is tons of room for improvement. The majority of the staff we encountered could definitely use some customer service training. No one smiled and forget about actually encountering someone that was happy to work there. Also, when we finally checked into our room, there was urine on the toilet seat and poo in the toilet. Gross. I expected a lot more considering the price and amazing reviews I read online. That being said, the food and drinks did not disappoint. They were consistently good every time we ate there. I understand it has not been open very long so hopefully they can get their staff issues worked out and this place will be super successful! If you go in with little to no expectation, you will probably enjoy yourself.
