Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails

I've wanted to eat here for about 3 years but it's a bit too expensive for me normally. My family took me for my birthday! It is higher priced, $20 or better for dinner, with smallish (but appropriate) portions artfully plated. They serve a seasonal, locally sourced menu so everything changes. I got a shrub soda which is lightly carbonated and was very tasty. Mac & Cheese was adorable and delicious, the cheesy top was perfectly crunchy. Dessert was locally made ice cream and a chess pie for my birthday. The pie was probably my least favorite thing, the crust was hard and the roasted or sautéed or maybe poached? peaches were kind of blah. The atmosphere is dark but comfortable with good, attentive wait staff.
