As a Jamaican living in Panama City for 8 years I have watched many Jamaican restaurants fail because the food was awful. So many places offer their fare with "Jamaican" in the title but every bit of fails to please the pallet. None have come even close to the flavor of the food I had today. Officially I can say that Jamaican authenticity has come to Panama City. Norma can cook. I had my personal favorite, curry goat with rice and peas, plantain and steamed vegetables and washed it down with some ginger beer and I am impressed. It is so refreshing to know that there is an option for real Jamaican cuisine so far from home. The store front is quaint but the food is AMAZING! Reasonable prices too. So for all my Jamaican peeps out there, check them out for the rest of you with a cultural flare or those who just want a break from fried this and fast food that, find Norma and Patrick. Can't wait to eat there often!
