My wife and I had an absolutely horrible experience with Karen Gaskill as our real estate agent. The one thing I would caution anyone who is considering using her for their real estate needs is to interview her EXTENSIVELY before you sign a contract with her. The Karen Gaskill we "knew" before we signed the listing agreement was NOTHING like the Karen Gaskill we were shackled with after we signed. Before: congenial, engaged, helpful and pleasant. After: insensitive, uncooperative, harsh and, in the end, blantantly self-serving. Beware - when Karen tells you about her 28 years of real estate experience, what she is really saying (based on our experience and my humble opinion) is that after you sign that listing agreement she is fully knowledgeable about how rude, obstinate and disengaged she can be without you, her client, being able to do anything about it. I have text, email, and voicemail records that support my contention that Karen Gaskill is much like the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing. Beware.
