The store has received something of a remodel over the past month or so, and now it's much more open and organized and pleasant to be in, which is good, because I come here for just about everything. I've grown to hate trying to shop at Target or Walmart because the experience here is just so much less chaotic and annoying, and the employees here constantly go out of their way to help you out and give advice, totally unprompted. Also, they're almost comically irreverent in the way they do things, and not just with the signage/uniforms/Ship My Pants/BigGas Savings and all that: they'll do stuff like dressing up as an inexplicably helpful and knowledgeable 'customer' to tell you that an item in your cart is on BOGO so you should grab another one.
In terms of pricing, there always seems to be some big sale going on, so practically everything is marked down to be competitive with the other discount stores, and their private brands like Adam Levine clothes and Smart Sense/Essential Home grocery stuff are actually very high quality despite being dirt cheap. I like that they've got a section of the store where they show you how much cheaper the items are at Kmart versus Amazon, Walmart, and the other big stores (it's usually somewhere between 50-75% cheaper, no exaggeration). Also, they have their Shop Your Way Rewards program, which is surprisingly rewarding considering the fact that it's free-- I end up making about 50% of my purchases with rewards points. If that's not enough for you, they give away free stuff on Saturdays.

Nice well kept store. Wide variety of merchandise.
