Terrible school. Wouldn't recommend. Head over to Gibbs, Northeast, Saint Petersburg, or Pinellas Park. All good schools without as much gang related activity and fights. Lakewood just got put on a lockdown because someone brought a gun to the school. If you go to Lakewood you will most likely fear for your child's education. Be smart and make the right decision to not attend here. It's my opinion. If you want, don't take my advice and let your child attend. I'm just talking based on personal experience. Attended for 2 years and now leaving.
