After my husband died, I wanted to incorporate my wedding set and my husband's wedding band. Both of our wedding bands had channel-set diamonds. I wanted to have the rings put together so they could fit on a 10mm wide omega necklace. Most of the jewelers wanted to take the diamonds out of the wedding rings and put it into a new omega slide pendant. But I didn't want that. I wanted the rings to be put together, not ripped apart for the diamonds. So, the jewelry designer came up with a design of a heart slide, with my husband's ring making up one side of the heart and my wedding ring the other side. Then she put my engagement diamond at the center of the base of the heart. After consulting the goldsmith, she confirmed that it was possible to do without removing diamonds, so the rings would keep their integrity. I was so happy that the rings would not be torn apart. After it was completed, the omega slide was more than I had expected! It was perfectly balanced on my omega necklace. Every time that I wear it I think of my husband and how a little piece of our life together adorns my neck, so very close to my heart. Lolli's really listens to what you want and they take to heart what it important to you. I tell my friends to go to Lolli's for that special gift or custom jewelry. They are the only jeweler that I go to for my repairs, too.
