The only reason I am leaving 3 stars is because the food was good and the manager was really helpful in helping me out with the incident that happened. I ordered for delivery from the restaurant through Postmates. First of all, I was missing two items, which I understand it could be the restaurant’s or Postmate’s mistake. Then, I looked closer to the printed receipt and those two items were missing on the receipt, so the “missing” part made sense. However, what did not make sense was that I was still being charged the same amount of money. I then looked closer to the printed receipt and it was because the bartender (his name is Roger by the way) who rung up my order, decided to charge me $18 as a gratuity fee. This of course did not make any sense, since the whole point of delivery is not paying a service fee. When I called the restaurant Roger said that he charged that fee because “there were more than 5 plates on my order” and because he had the “gesture” of wrapping up my order and adding bread an butter to my order (most ridiculous thing I have ever heard). He then told me that if I was so upset about the extra charge that he was willing to talk with the manager about it, which of course I asked him to do so. He then called me back to ask me for my credit card info to process the refund, but since it was the delivery’s guy card who was charged, he was not able to process the refund. He then told me that he was willing to meet up with me to give me the cash back in person for “my convenience”. The conversation ended in him telling me: “I do not want to have any problems with the restaurant’s admin. team”, which of course made me think that he said that because he knew what he was doing. I showed up to restaurant and explained what happened to the host and to the manager. I want to add that Roger was at the bar and kept insisting on being part of the conversation, for which the manager asked him to stay out at that moment so she could listen to me. Roger took out the cash and put it on the table and said “ Like I told you yesterday, here is your money”. When I mentioned Roger’s response to the gratuity charge, I was told that I should not have been charged for that and that bread and butter comes with ALL orders (of course it was not some extra nice gesture that he did for me). The manager was really nice and helpful and refunded me the money. It is a shame that their employee acted they way he did with excuses for his own benefit.

Walked in and was told all tables are reserved and pushed me to the side to help a group behind me. Didn't offer to wait or sit at the bar which was empty. So I left and went to Graziano on bird rd which was great over there.
