Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jacksonville Airport

When they say Micro, they mean Micro. The rooms are SMALL but very clean and modern. There was barely enough room to walk on both sides of the bed. Bathroom was clean and well appointed but missing the tub stopper so I had to use washcloths to plug the drain for a bath. Not really a big deal. Pool area was nice but no hot tub. Nice seating area outside. Breakfast was not great. Huge lines for the one coffee machine and the one juice machine. They had bagged pancakes but no syrup. Staff said they had gone through 4 boxes of syrup and were out. Muffins were good. Staff had a lot to be desired though. I had reserved 2 rooms, one in my name and one in my husband's. I checked in without my husband and asked to make sure that we would be on the same floor. She said it wasn't a problem. Then when he checked in, they gave him a room on the first floor. I asked about getting them a room on the 3rd floor where I already was and he acted very put out that I asked to move. Still, a great hotel if you are just interested in sleeping and moving on.
