Im givimg 2 stars because at least the people i dealt with were pleasant. My lift stop working so i brought my van to Mobility Works of Fort Lauderdale (1st time) , prior to this ive gone to Miami which is further. The first lady i dealt with said the Computer was bad. She said it would be $1700 minus a $300 discount . I put a $500 deposit and authorized work. I was also told they had to order part, overnight shipping would be $46. When i called to check on progress i was switched to another service woman who indicated to me they received the wrong part because of there mistake. They still charged me the overnight shipping. Once they got the computer they told me that another part was needed. The 2nd part was ordered and again the wrong part. The cost now is over $3000. I had no choice but to authorize work. When it came time to go over my bill , I had to remind the 2nd service woman rhat i paid a $500 deposit and there was a $300 discount, which she did go and verify. I was also charged over $250 in shipping which i was only told about $46 which i shouldn't have been charged since they ordered the wrong part which means i didn't get it overnight. After all this, in less than a month my lift STOPS working. I have someone bring it back because im in a wheelchair and can't drive. They took my van immediately. They called and said it was a loose wire. Wires i was told were replaced by them. I was charged a 1hr labor charge. I was disgusted but just wanted my van. I also asked for my parts, which they didn't put in my van. I asked the service lady what happened and she said she didn't check. This was very expensive but thats just the life of a handicap however i expect good fair work at a minimum. If your healrhy enough to be there while they are working i suggest you stay on top of them. My experience was not good, i came here because of the reviews and it was closer.
