Purchased a security system for 69.96/month. Company's website has the same product for 39.99. The business is not willing to help us with this scam. I purchase the security system from "Moni" and been charged 69.96/month since April 2017. I just checked their website and the equipment I been paying for a whole year actually cost 39.99/month. After finding this out- I call and asked them why was I being charged $30.00/month extra when their highest package is 59.99 which is still under 69.96 (my current payments) I'm being charge for the product listed as "Core Package - 39.99" and paying 69.96 for it. This includes: A button (no tactil) screen which only lets me know if my doors (3) are being opened. I said to them that this is not fair as I'm paying more than any other customer for the minimum. When others are paying 59.99 and have cameras, phone apps, gate controllers, even a touch screen panel vs my plastic old panel.
We are currently unable to get upgraded either- according to them we have a contract signed where we will pay the outrages $69.96/month during 5 years for the equipment whose value is currently 39.99/month and that THEY PURCHASE OUR CONTRACT FROM SOMEONE ELSE-
SINCE WHEN CAN MY CONTRACT BE PASS AROUND WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR SIGNATURE???!!!! obviously in 5 years this product is going to be worth around 90% less than in what is now with the technology developments.
Regardless we still have to pay for this scam and the company wont cooperate with us, a guy called Willy Marshall said that they weren't the ones who sold us the product even though is their brand and they provide technical support for it.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do. Pay 70/month with a really basic security system is not only unfair but not safe for me and my family. We live in Opa Locka (Florida) and we have the necessity of being able to leave our home or go to bed knowing there is a team of experts taking care of us while we pay (over than normal) monthly payments for their services.
We are very disappointed and upset that this noxious company was ever awarded by the Better Business Bureau- I would be ashamed if I worked for a company that makes their money by stealing for families who solely goal is to keep their loved ones safe.
