Myakka River Oyster Bar

My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. It was disappointing to say the least. Here's the thing. You advertise seafood. Your restaurant is on the river. Not one item I ordered was prepared fresh. I had the clams for an appetizer. Turned out to be frozen clam strips. The ribs and shrimp I ordered, 3 breaded frozen shrimp and a half rack of ribs out of a package and heated. My wife ordered the grilled chicken dinner. She used the marina sauce that was delivered with my clam strips to add flavor to it. Why not actually grill chicken, ribs.and serve fresh seafood??? We left wondering how many 1st time customers are lost after eating there??? Effort makes all the difference when preparing fresh. What a shame. Your location has you set up to hit a home run everyday.
