The dog dryer here has not worked since January. Based on my experience dealing with the staff on this issue, I am deeply unsatisfied and would not recommend moving here. They are not disclosing this information, among other things like taking away their coffee amenity (which is still available at this time), to new residents. I've gotten attitudes about this matter and I am concerned about punitive measures.
It's a beautiful place, but even the resident portal, which is supposed to be for the residents, by the residents, is accessible by the staff which insists that they are not monitoring it, specifically Brenda. Even this portal is curated, which is deeply unsettling due to the necessity of open communication regarding our community. How will anyone be able to communicate openly about the business practices here if the staff can see their complaints openly? Nobody will write as I do about this place for fear of retaliation, which is a shocking number of people based on how they went about "phasing out the coffee". That is a whole other story.
Until the dryer is fixed, this review will stay. I'm tired of the run around, it's ridiculous and unprofessional. I should not be made to feel like a villain because I want the amenities I pay for the be working as they should. The excuses are bad enough, the attitude is worse. I'm afraid of negative backlash, but apparently making these issues known to the staff does NOTHING, so here I am.
I'm certain they will see this, like they see the resident portal, and I am sure they will continue to resent me for making it such an issue. As a person who comes from nothing and has earned all that I have-- I would not recommend doing business with this company. I love my apartment and I love the location, but I do not love the price of my rent with the treatment I have received while living here.
Also, they have come to my apartment several times about the air conditioner not working properly. It still has the same issues it always has, the drain pipe filling with water and shutting off. Changing the filter isn't fixing the issue guys.
