Rick's Dry Cleaners

I went there today to pick up my jacket that I dropped off in April. The owner Rick informed me that he will be charging me an additional $20.00 fee because I didn't pick my jacket up in April, bringing my grand total to $30.00. I politely asked Rick if he could waive the twenty dollar fee, and that I was sorry that I didn't pick up my jacket in a timely fashion. He then goes on to tell me that he has to pay electricity, employees, and I must pay the twenty dollars for the storage fee! I said I understood that, and can you please waive the fee, he then said very arrogantly "well I could waive the fee..but i'm not" !! "It's business". I will never bring MY business to this dry cleaners EVER again!! So apparently.... I have until next month to pay the $30.00 if I don't pay my jacket will be "donated" so he claims! I feel like he is punishing me and trying to teach me my lesson & being extremely difficult, especially after I apologized twice! I called Ocala police Non-emergency because it did not state anything about a twenty dollar storage fee on my ticket that I received when I dropped off my jacket. Had I known maybe this story would have a different ending. Ocala police said that this is a civil matter and I need to take Rick to court if I wanted to proceed further. The world we live in is sad, nobody CARES!!! Thanks RICK, and may God Bless You and your business~
