Swamp House Riverfront Grill

Very busy on a Sunday afternoon. The wait staff was great! Terrific view of the river and BBQ burgers & chicken are for sale at the dockside bar. The fried gator tail was probably the best I've had in a decade, the conch fritters were pretty good, too. We ordered fried grouper sandwich, the mini Nightmare, Cuban sandwich & Hawaiian burger, everyone loved their food. The homemade potato chips were a little over cooked, IMO. Overall, it's definitely a place we'll return to.

Looked for a local place to eat while in the area. Great service fabulous food. If you are looking for fried green tomatoes, gator and any fresh seafood stop here. You will enjoy it. The chips with blue cheese and balsamic was scrumptious.

Brought friends there for the first time and was pretty disappointed. Food tasted good but we all left hungry including the kids. Also i specifically asked the server if the kids mac and cheese was kraft. He told me no. It absolutely was. Probably won't go back.
