Tampa Marriott Westshore

Booked last minute for one night, when we entered our room the foyer floor, bathroom floor and shower were dirty. The balcony had a view of a trash dumpster and AC units on roof. We asked for a new room which turned out to be a little better. It was mainly the bathroom floor, some rug stains and dirty windows. We were giving a complimentary breakfast buffet for our trouble, which was real nice, especially having a chef making omelettes. The king size bed was very comfortable with down pillows. The staff was nice and the pool was enjoyable to sit outside in a tropical setting. We ended up booking a second night mainly because of the proximity to the airport. This gave us more time to sunbathe in the morning around the pool. If they had stepped up their game with house keeping, I would have given them a 4 star rating. It all comes down to good management for a successful business.
