This is a very nice camp ground on the Florida coast. The facilities are clean and up to date, the staff friendly and accommodating. As a tent camper, finding places in RV dominated Florida to pitch a tent was a bit of a challenge. While I wouldn't say that Jetty Park caters to tent campers, it had a removed area for tents with lots of bushes and trees. I dropped a star for what I felt was an out of control fire ant population at my site. The staff came by twice at my request to treat, but that really didn't make much of a difference (the ants just pop up a few feet over). If you must camp here, I'd suggest bringing your own fire ant control plan. The mosquitoes were definitely worse in the tent area around the trees than in the more open areas, so consider a site with less shade if you don't want to be coating yourself with deet all day. Final thought: consider a cabin here if you don't have an RV.
