Annie's Restaurant

This is THEE place for breakfast in the downtown cape area. Has been there since the beginning of creation. Always quick service and attentive staff. Lots of tables and a good buzz. Not at all too classy, just a run of the mill breakfast joint. Locals prefer Annie's.

Nice old school diner, food OK, inexpensive, but would not recommend for a large party. We had a party of 8. Our waiter was slow coming to our table to start with, started taking our order, and stopped halfway through to deliver other tables food. He advised us that when his buzzer goes off, he has to stop immediately and pick up. Most restaurants handle that a little bit differently!! Expediters? Bottom line is that we waited almost an hour for our food! Other smaller parties around us that had arrived after us, had already eaten and were leaving by the time we got our food. Not a great experience when we took our out-of-town visitors there.
