I dropped off a prescription at Walgreens at noon. They said it would be one and a half hours. I went home and called after one and a half hours. The automated service said it is still being processed. I waited again. Still being processed. Again still being processed. Finally I got a person on the phone and they said they didn't have it in Stock and have to call the doctor for a different one. I said the automated service said still being processed and that is different than not in Stock and waiting for doctor.i said just give me my script back and I will go to Walmart. They said they no longer have the script, that all I have to do is call walmart and ask them to call walgreens. I called walmart and they said I have to tell them the name and milligrams and Chris was very nice but obviously didn't do what she said she was going to do when she said she would call walgreens. I called walgreens back. They gave me the info and I called walmart back. They said we also need to know the amount of pills. I called walgreens back and they said 90. I called walmart back and told them and by now I was really upset and the girl Kayla hung up on me, she was very rude.. I also told them I was waiting since noon and it was now 5 oclock.walmart said the automated service will call me when it's ready. I waited and waited and finally went down there. To my horror, walmart said they have to call walgreens. I couldn't believe they still haven't done that yet. I waited and waited again
I asked again if it was ready and the pharmacist Amit actually said I didn't realize you were waiting. I wanted to get caught up. He finally looked at me and said it was ready as he handed it to the cashier and she actually asked for my name and birthdate again. Then Chris looked at me and said "and it was 20 pills not 90," as if I was trying to pull a fast one. Walgreens system sucks and so does walmart. Looks like faithful Publix did it again!
