I will never do business with Air Van again. Learn from my mistake: The personnel at Air Van's warehouse will ask you to sign a receipt saying you have received your goods from their warehouse BEFORE you have a chance to inspect it. My goods were damaged when inspected right outside their warehouse prior to being put into my transport company's truck, but the supervisor at Air Van wouldn't indicate the damage on his receipt or file a report. He then agreed to take a photograph of the damage, but later claimed that he didn't take the photograph. He then told me that I'd never get the damaged goods replaced because overseas merchants and insurance companies will give me the run-around. Luckily, I took many photos and videos of the damage to my goods prior to transporting goods home. The damaged goods were replaced, with no thanks to Air Van. BEFORE picking up any goods from Air Van, indicate on your receipt that you have not yet inspected the goods, and cannot indicate that you have received the goods undamaged. Then check your goods/cargo before it gets loaded into your car or truck. If you are having a transport company pick up your goods, have them do the same. Otherwise you will be out of luck. Please be aware that I never felt as if Air Van had anything to do with the damage that occurred. My goods came from overseas and were handled by many different transporters. All I wanted was their help indicating that I received my goods damaged. They did everything in their power to make this next to impossible for me to do so.
