Dockside Dave's

First, this place was very nice. It’s your typical beach town family owned restaurant but there is nothing typical about this place and that’s a good thing. The staff was courteous and attentive. We enjoyed the food very much. Try the alligator! We sat in the covered porch section of the restaurant as we could easily pull our travel stroller with our toddler in it right up to the table. The waitress loved her so much that she had the owner come out to meet her, chatting with us for 10-15 minutes, very family friendly. The Corona’s were cold and refreshing; the Salad had crisp lettuce and perfectly cooked salmon while my trapper fried fish was so tasty I didn’t need any type of dipping sauce. The alligator appetizer was my favorite of this meal. Even my daughter loved it. The only unsatisfactory part of the restaurant is that we only visited once. The value when compared to some of the other restaurants a little north was awesome. If I lived close by this would probably be my regular place.

At our table, we ordered beer battered grouper, lemon grilled grouper, basket of waffle fries. AWESOME! We highly recommend Dave's twist of the key lime pie. LOVE IT!
