I was leaving my gf's apartment & walking her dog to my car to get coffee when 2 officers pulled me over because they were looking for a "white guy with a goatee" who may or may not having been breaking into cars.
When I asked why I was being pulled over the officer told me to give him my ID & then they'd sort it out later. Super shady. They let me go but not after harassing me for 10-15 mins.
Look, I understand Maitland PD has a job to do, but I know my rights & I find it ridiculous as a law abiding citizen that I was pulled over & didn't even fit the description of the criminal in question.
Next time they can detain or arrest me, talk to my lawyer, and I won't be so cooperative.
