Amazing customer service, helpful and friendly staff at facility location. Service is 5 stars. Deb and Ron are wonderful. I had been a tenant for 10 years. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and secure. Ron and Deb go out of their way to help any way they can! The reason for the poor rating is the price and the dramatics price increases. Like most storage facilities, Metro counts on a tenant's reluctance to leave once you move in. They offer more than competitive introductory rates, make verbal promises about their minimal rate changes, then start increasing the rate after a few months. It feels like they hold your belongings hostage. We lost our home and had to store everything we own. Our original $99 rate jumped to over $300 over the last nine years. I don't begrudge a company a profit, I don't expect the rates to remain the same. An increase of 300% is taking advantage of the circumstances. They know the costs in terms of time and money to move your possessions to another facility. I should have left years ago! I could have repurchased everything I own a dozen times over with what I wasted here. Get your quote in writing and work with a company who doesn't take advantage of the most vulnerable! Avoid this company. Buyer (in this case: renter) beware!
