Our family of 8 stayed for a week in December. Upon first impression - the grounds are not as well maintained as the pictures suggest. Michael was wonderful. There were a few issues from the renters that just left - but Michael was on top of it immediately and had everything looked after. The house is a great size for a family of 8. Just wish that the seating around the dinning room table would be bigger to accommodate the whole family more comfortably. It really is only set up for 6. The house was very clean. The pool and hot tub were great. The temperature of the pool was lovely as well. The linens (especially dish towels) could be updated. There seemed to be lots of sheets in the cupboard but some of the ones we had were a bit worn. I feel badly for Michael in that he is trying to keep a lovely place - but past renters are not taking care with things like blinds as some mini blinds are bent and one bedroom had missing vanes of vertical blinds. It just makes for a disappointing first impression. If you like Ikea - this is the house for you. Lots of bikes to pick from - but many need air in the tires. The kitchen does have plenty of nice dishes, glasses, etc. The people ahead of us could have left a few things as we did for the people coming after us (such as a little laundry detergent or a bit of paper towel,etc - but that is not Michael's fault, just the luck of who is renting ahead of you. All in all - it was a comfortable place.
