The ambiance, presentation, and customer service at American Shave was great, but that is all it delivered on. If I was there for a good chat and a beer I would have given this place five stars, but sadly they fell drastically short on the actual haircut. I spent forty five minutes in a chair and gave the barber a lot of leeway to do a cut she felt comfortable with. Sadly, I left American Shave with horrible fade lines all across the back of my head that I didn't see till I got home, four cuts from the razor on the back of my neck, and hair that looked like it was styled by a tornado. Beautiful place, great list of offered service, but terrible delivery on what you are essentially there for, the haircut.
