I had Sprinkler Works Sarasota Fl come out to look at a system on a house I 'm renovating. I ask repeatedly for an estimate of the work needed. The tech said I needed to call the office for the estimate. Which I thought was odd since he was there and the office staff was not. I repeatedly called the office and always got a voicemail system and had to call many times to check the status of the work. I finally talked with a person and he stated that he thought the work would be around $350.00. Which I thought would be reasonable. I have never come across a company that did not give you a cost estimate before they preformed the work. I would have never had them do the job otherwise. For a business that has been doing this for years they should have some idea of the cost of a job. I would have never used them and would have gotten other estimates if I knew I would be getting a bill for $1045.00. Very unprofessional. I spoke with David Johnson and he was no help at all. How can a business think that they have an open budget when they do work for a customer. I would never recommend this company. There is more honest people out there.
