We recently visited with our daughter. We wanted to do the free initial lesson since she is 3, and it was like pulling teeth to get them to honor the free lesson they offer. The lady who spoke with us was only concerned with if we would pay for registration before we even went to the free lesson, and then wanted to go through how much we needed to pay this month, next month, a recital costume charge, and wanted us to bring that payment with her at her free check it out lesson. She never once spoke to my daughter but told her not to stand near a display... um what? Made me feel like they see children's footsteps like the sound of a cash register... I know a lot of girls come in and out of there and look very serious. I am sure it's a great studio to learn, but was not the right fit for us. We want a studio where she can learn, but also have fun which is what dance should be, and be taught by people who love kids. Right next door, we found a gymnastics studio where everyone goes in and out with a huge smile and is taught by an Olympic Gold Medalist. We opted to double up lessons with them and pass on Studio 5D and look else where for dance lessons in the future even though it is literally walking distance from our home.
